Guernsey's latest unemployment figures for September 2024 show there has been an 18% rise in job-seekers.
At the end of September 2024, the number of islanders with no work increased to 241.
This 37 more than in June, but 50 fewer than a year ago.
Around 28% of jobseekers are in some form of paid work, but are still eligible for Income Support due to their earnings.
The Job Centre is currently advertising 308 positions, 11 more than in the same month last year.
