Interim head of Health Anthony McKeever is being paid £27,000 a month. That is the equivalent of a £324,000 annual salary.
Temporary department heads are costing an additional £29,000 a month in expenses and accommodation.
The States has confirmed a list of 33 senior executives who have cost a combined £3.3 million between October 2017 and November 2018.
From December onwards, we are told the estimated ongoing monthly cost is £389,600 pounds.
The information has angered public sector unions - including those representing civil servants, teachers and nurses, who are embroiled in an ongoing dispute over pay.
