The 17 people hoping to become a Jersey senator are taking part in their first hustings tonight (7 May).
The candidates will be at St Lawrence Parish Hall from 7pm.
The island-wide position - which was scrapped for the 2022 general election - has been reinstated for 2026.
On 7 June, voters will have a choice of 17 people to fill the nine available senatorial seats in the States Assembly.
The line-up includes eight sitting States members, three former politicians, two previous election candidates and four newcomers.
St Lawrence is hosting the first senator hustings - where people can ask questions that might help them decide who to pick.
Tomorrow evening (Friday 8 May), they will move to St Saviour, and the Great Hall at Highlands College.
