56 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Jersey in the last 24 hours - the biggest daily total recorded so far.
It brings active case numbers up to 331. 231 of them have symptoms.
There are now eight people with coronavirus being treated in hospital, up from seven yesterday. The additional patient was already in hospital being treated for other reasons.
2840 contacts have been traced.
The government is due to announce that pubs, bars, and restaurants in Jersey will close for at least two weeks from Friday 4 December
