All three emergency services were called to the old Water's Edge Hotel at Bouley Bay early Saturday, 28 March.
Fire crews, the ambulance and police were at the scene shortly after 9 this morning (28 March).
Pictures on social media show fire crews running a hose along the outside of the former Water's Edge Hotel.
The extent of the damage is unclear at this stage as is any word of people involved or injuries.
The building closed as an hotel in 2017 and was bought for redevelopment into a luxury home with certain planning caveats.
