The Sheep Shed in St Lawrence is adding overnight stays to its offering, giving visitors a glimpse into life on a Jersey family farm.
Husband-and-wife team Laurent and Paris Coenen, founders of Potage Farm and The Sheep Shed, are currently building Hedgerow House, which will welcome its first guests from June 2027.
Guests will be able to immerse themselves in farming life; collecting eggs, feeding sheep, picking flowers from the flower farm, or getting involved in the events that the family already runs.
Paris Coenen says holidaymakers are looking to Jersey more, as summers in Europe get hotter.
"Even in France, some people are saying the heat is unbearable. I think Jersey has always been a location that people choose because it's easy to get to from the UK as well.
"We want (stays) to be relaxing, out in the countryside and away from day-to-day life, we want (visitors) to be able to dip in and out of the activities we provide."

The Sheep Shed already welcomes visitors through children's parties, playgroups and farm experiences.
The development, which has been a decade in the making, will offer six farm stay suites, accommodating up to 22 guests. Paris told us her vision:
"It's fresh air, muddy boots and time together as a family.
"If a child leaves having collected their first egg, discovered where their food comes from, or simply made memories together as a family, we'll feel we've created something really special."
The investment has been welcomed by Visit Jersey for offering holidaymakers something different. CEO Tricia Warwick said:
"Hedgerow House is a fantastic example of Jersey's accommodation offer evolving in a way that celebrates the island's unique heritage while resonating with wider travel trends, and we look forward to welcoming guests to experience this special kind of Jersey stay.”
It's hoped Hedgerow House will be ready for the 2027 summer holidays.
