Police are appealing for witnesses after a man allegedly pulled a knife during an argument with three or four other men.
The fight started by the Fish Market on Minden Place at around 10:15pm on Thursday night, and continued onto Cattle Street and Beresford Street.
It comes after a separate fight in the same area two days earlier.
Police say the lone man was followed by the group from the Fish Market towards the junction with Cattle Street, when he allegedly pointed a knife towards them.
The man believed to have been in possession of the knife is described as thin, around 6’0” tall, wearing black clothing and a baseball cap.
One man was arrested at the scene and a knife recovered. No one was injured during the incident.
Officers say a number of cars drove through the area of St Helier at the time of the incident. They are looking to hear from anyone who saw what happened or may have dashcam footage from the time.
