A man has been arrested after an assault in town allegedly involving a knife.
Police want to speak to anyone with information about a row in a shop in New Street at lunchtime on Sunday.
It's claimed two men were shouting at each other, and one pulled out a knife.
They both ran off onto King Street, and fought again outside USC - where a punch was thrown.
Police say the men are known to each other have been identified.
One man is described as 6 foot tall wearing a cap with tattoos on his neck and face. The second man is described as being around 6 foot tall wearing a blue puffa coat carrying a blue rucksack with distinctive green straps.
The two men then walked away in separate directions, one of which walked down Don Street.
