The government says the contract has been signed to start building the new hospital at Overdale.
Bouygues UK was chosen as the 'main works' delivery partners for the project last November.

We're now told the paperwork is complete.
The company's worked on more than 400 health care facilities worldwide and has delivered major hospital projects across the UK and Europe.
The government had previously said it was aiming to have the acute hospital built before the end of 2028, and it is set to cost around £710 million.
