Contracts have been signed to build 82 new homes off Rouge Bouillon in St Helier.
The Summerland site will comprise of seven three-bedroom houses, 52 one-bedroom and 23 two-bedroom flats.
It was previously home to ageing office buildings once used by the States of Jersey Police and the BBC.
Andium Homes says the work to clear the site is due to be completed on Thursday 28 March, with construction commencing the following week.
Local building contractor, Camerons, has been chosen to carry out the development. It's due to be completed in the middle of 2021.

When it's finished, the development will be renamed 'Le Clos Couriard' in memory of the late Mitch Couriard MBE.
