An 80-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening or changing injuries after a crash involving a fallen tree in St Peter's Valley this afternoon.
She was the passenger in the Green Citroen driven by a 44-year-old woman, who escaped unhurt.
Emergency services attended the scene near the Greenfields Hotel turning at around 3:40pm.
Growth, Housing and Environment are clearing the road, which is still closed.
